The customer service desk at Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex will be closed from Tuesday, June 27 to Wednesday June 28 while staff move it to a new location. No transactions, including registrations, can take place during this time.
Residents are able to access these services at the South Courtice Arena , Alan Strike Aquatic and Squash Centre , Courtice Community Complex and Newcastle & District Recreation Complex .

Flooding at Cobbledick Trail Clarington June 23, 2017/- Heavy rain has caused localized flooding on various roads and in low-lying areas across the Municipality of Clarington. Several local roads are closed due to flooding and pooling water.

The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department will be temporarily closing Maple Grove Road in two stages to permit intersection improvements at the intersection of King Street (Durham Highway 2), in the Municipality of Clarington.
Stage 1 – Maple Grove Road from King Street southerly 120 metres will be closed to through traffic. Access for residents and emergency vehicles will be permitted. Duration will be for approximately three weeks commencing July 4 ....

Road Closure MapConcession Road 6 and Concession Road 7 will close at Darlington-Clarke Townline, June 19 to July 19, 2017 from noon to 6 p.m., for construction of new connectors and ramps for Highway 407.
