• Oversee the construction of all municipal infrastructure projects such as road reconstruction, ...bridge replacement, new/replacement sidewalks, etc.

• Day to day inspection of all components of new subdivision projects

• Coordination of all utilities placed within municipal road allowances

• Design and installation inspection of street lighting in new subdivisions

• Approval of Canada Post Community Mailboxes

• Administration of Subdivision Agreements and finances

• Provide input on engineering designs for all municipal projects

• Follow up complaints from residents relating to road construction work such as mud
and dust, etc.

The Municipality of Clarington's Design Guidelines have been prepared by our Engineering Services Department to set out design and construction requirements for new developments. The manual will aid engineers, developers, contractors and others in the development industry.
