Ontario’s Members of Provincial Parliament have been invited to nominate young women under age 18 for the annual Leading Girls Building Communities Award.  As such, John O’Toole, MPP, is requesting our assistance in providing names of young women from the Municipality of Clarington who would be suitable candidates. 

The award recognizes girls who demonstrate exceptional leadership in working to improve the lives of others in their schools or communities.
  MPPs submit names to the Minister Responsible for Women’s Issues,
the Honourable Laurel Broten, and the successful nominees will receive a Certificate of Rcognition and letter from the Minister.
