Established in 2007, the Newcomer Champion Awards recognize outstanding individuals or groups who contribute to the understanding and sharing of Ontario’s cultural diversity and provide welcoming communities for the
benefit of newcomers.  Nominees may be individuals or groups who have demonstrated leadership and commitment in promoting cultural diversity
and harmony through activities such as educational outreach, special events
and the support of newcomers settling into communities across the province.  Nomination forms and information relating to the awards are available on

deadline is March 15, 2012.
