Please be advised that beginning the week of May 5, 2008, Elgin Street from Second Street to Fourth Street will be closed to through traffic for approximately 8 weeks (2 months).

The closure is required for the construction of sewers, watermains, storm sewers, curb and gutter and other road related works.  Access will be maintained for local residents only.

Appropriate detour signage will be placed prior to the closure.

The Contractor and the Municipal Consulting Engineers (TSH) will have representatives on site during construction to deal with any concerns that arise.  Please note the following contact information:
