THE STARLAB HAS LANDED!

Bowmanville, ON, March 20, 2008--- The Royal Ontario Museum’s incredible travelling Planetarium, the
StarLab, is at Sarah Jane Williams Heritage Centre in Bowmanville  from March 25 to April 15, 2008.  The exhibit features a 30 minute show inside the planetarium showcasing the stars and constellations appearing in Clarington’s night sky.
Have you ever gazed up at the night sky in amazement and wanted to learn more?  If so, you’re not alone.
Since the dawn of time stars have fascinated humans.  They’ve acted as navigation tools, and inspired countless legends for cultures all around the world.  Take a trip to the stars by visiting the StarLab at Sarah Jane Williams Heritage Centre.
A guide will take you on a tour of the sky and share some ancient stories of the constellations.  Visitors can also participate in hands-on activities at the many Learning Centres.  Re-create Mars’ surface and understand why scientist believe there may have been life on Mars.  Handle a real meteorite, and write a postcard from the moon.  Join us on a journey through the universe!
