Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of upcoming road closures on Townline Road North on the border of the City of Oshawa and the Municipality of Clarington’s community of Courtice.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Newtonville Road (Regional Road 18) in the Municipality of Clarington.

When: May 17 to September 3. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Beginning May 17, 2021, the Region of Durham will be working on Newtonville Road (Regional Road 18) from north of Highway 401 to south of Concession Road 5, in the Municipality of Clarington. Work will consist of asphalt removal, culvert replacements, installation of guide rail, placement of granular A, double lift surface treatment, asphalt and new pavement markings.

Temporary Traffic Signals installed on Bowmanville Avenue at Energy Drive

Temporary traffic signals will be installed on Bowmanville Avenue at Energy Drive for the rehabilitation of the CP Rail Bridge, south of Energy Drive. The traffic signals will be in place from March 5, 2021, until November, with alternating single lanes throughout the duration of the project.
