Clarington to receive $2.1 million in COVID-19 relief funding from Ontario Government

Clarington August 12, 2020/- The Municipality of Clarington will receive $2.1 million in COVID-19 relief funding from the Provincial Government, as announced by Ontario Premier, Doug Ford Wednesday afternoon.

Fitness Training Centre update

Beginning August 10, Clarington will reopen its fitness training centre located at Courtice Community Complex. To ensure physical distancing and following all health and safety protocols, the fitness training centre will reopen with limited capacity and pre-registered one-hour workout time slots.

Liberty Street to close August 10 to 21

Liberty Street will close from Concession Road 8 to Regional Road 20 beginning Monday, August 10 until Friday, August 21, 2020, for road works. Detours will be available via Woodley Road and local alternates.
