Clarington's Municipal Administrative Centre (Town Hall) will be closed on Monday, October 9, 2023, in observance of Thanksgiving and will reopen on Tuesday, October 10, at 8:30 a.m.
Recreation Facilities
Regular facility hours and regular program schedules will be in effect Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8.
All recreation facilities will be closed on Monday, October 9.

Clarington, Ontario – Clarington will move forward with construction of the new South Bowmanville Recreation Centre.
At a special meeting on October 2, Clarington Council voted to spend $65 million to develop, design and construct the first phase of the new facility, which will include a gymnasium and multi-purpose rooms for registered and drop-in programs; a sports dome and indoor walking track; and an outdoor skating rink.

Clarington gives $1.25 million to kick-start construction of new hospice
