Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is collaborating with local area municipalities and utilities to create a community-wide network of electric vehicle (EV) chargers to accelerate our transition to a clean energy economy. Clarington Council reopens property at the end of Longworth Avenue to the public
Clarington Council has amended a previous decision prohibiting the public from using the Municipal property on Longworth Avenue and Mearns Avenue. Council has opted to reopen the property for public use while adding certain safety precautions. The Regional Municipality of Durham has made the purchase of garbage bag tags available online through durham.ca, to residents living in Ajax, Brock, Clarington, Pickering, Scugog and Uxbridge.
