Construction Notice
Silver Street and King Street West, Queen Street and Division Street Pedestrian Crossings, Bowmanville

Please be advised that the Municipality of Clarington will be constructing controlled pedestrian crossings at the Silver Street/King Street West and Queen Street/Division Street intersections beginning Monday, July 22, 2019, and lasting approximately 12 weeks.

The construction work will include the removal and replacement of curb, sidewalk, brick pavers and asphalt, line painting, signage installation, and signal pole erection. The project will strive to keep pedestrian access east/west along the sidewalks at all times, however, please note temporary closure of pedestrian access and on-street parking may occur at times due to safety concerns during the installation of the works.

The Municipality is willing to meet with any business owners to discuss the impacts, timing, and to receive any comments.
