Road Closures

We strive to ensure that we inform residents of any road works and closures that may affect your daily commute.

Lambs Road (South Service Road) in Bowmanville has been closed between Lake Road and East Beach Road. The closure will remain in effect until further notice.
Traffic will be required to detour via Lake Road/Port Darlington Road and East Beach Road.
In the event of an emergency, an Emergency Detour Road has been constructed south of the CNR Railway between Lambs Road (South Service Road) and Bennett Road.

Durham Highway 2 will be reduced to one lane in each direction, between Courtice Road and Solina Road, May 15, 2017, through May 30, 2019 ; for works related to the construction of the new Highway 418.
Beginning at 6 a.m. on July 10, 2017 , lanes on Highway 2 (one per direction) will be shifted to the South to allow for the completion of asphalt work. Left turn movements will not be permitted from Monday, July 10 at 6 a.m. to Tuesday, July 11 at 2 a.m.
