Clarington February 6, 2018/- Council will donate a two-acre or 0.8 hectare portion of land on Cobbledick Road to Durham Hospice to build a five-bed residential hospice in Clarington.

Clarington February 6, 2018/- Clarington residents will see a 2.93 per cent increase to the local portion of their property taxes; of that, 1.79 per cent will be invested in infrastructure, 0.94 per cent allocated to regular operations, and 0.2 per cent for external agencies. That means the average household in Clarington will pay an additional $40 in taxes in 2018.
