Council approved the creation of the committee that will focus on active transportation, development of trails, cycling, pedestrian safety, road safety and the development of policies associated with these issues. Clarington December 12, 2017/- Clarington Council has decided against imposing additional regulations on local Airbnbs and short-term rentals. Instead, complaints about these types of rental units will be dealt with using existing zoning, noise, parking and nuisance by-laws.
