Every year the Municipality hosts the Clarington Sports Hall of Fame. With the support of our local partners, St Marys and Ontario Power Generation - Darlington, we celebrate the amazing athletic achievements of our local residents.

Since the awards began in 2003, we have inducted 87 worthy recipients into the Clarington Sports Hall of Fame. We have several categories including athlete, builder, and team, as well as an honorary category. We know there are many worthy candidates in our community who are yet to be recognized.

Recognize our local sport heroes

Do you know an athlete, team, or someone who has made a significant contribution to the sporting community? If you know someone who deserves to be inducted into the Clarington Sports Hall of Fame please help us by filling out a nomination form.

We are now accepting nominations for new inductees. Please take a moment to review the nomination form and selection criteria.

This is your opportunity to ensure that our rich sports history is appropriately acknowledged and celebrated!

Deadline for submissions is May 31 each year.
