Parking

On-Street Parking

Contact(s)

In Clarington, you can park on any road for a maximum of three hours, except during the hours of 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. and where signs show no parking.

On-street parking

To park on the road for more than three hours, including between the hours of 3 a.m. to 5 a.m., you will need to apply for an on-street parking permit or a temporary parking pass.

On-street parking permits are available for a fee of $11.30 per week or $39.55 per month.

Apply for an on-street parking permit

If you would like to apply for a permit to park on the street or in one of the Municipal lots, please fill out the parking permit application and return the completed application and fee, to the Municipal Law Enforcement Office (2611 Trulls Road, Courtice), during regular business hours.

We cannot guarantee approval, as on-street permits are only issued if the street can safely accommodate on-street parking without impeding traffic. The permit does not guarantee parking in front of the applicant's residence. We can only issue one permit per municipal address. The permit does not exempt the holder from obeying other regulations.

Winter parking

Do not park on the street during a snow event at any time of day or night, even with a parking permit. Parking on the street during a snow event can slow down snow clearing operations, and in some cases, it can stop all snow clearing on that street.

If you park on the street during a snow event, your vehicle may be towed.
