Safety first – Clarington sets operating hours for whirlpools and saunas to ensure lifeguard supervision

Safety on deck is our number one priority, especially at Clarington’s indoor swimming pools. The Municipality is setting operating hours for all whirlpools and saunas to ensure public safety and have a lifeguard on duty to provide supervision and emergency assistance if needed. This year, Clarington will also reconstruct the whirlpool and sauna areas to increase visibility and sightlines, ensuring that in future, these areas can be monitored anywhere on deck.
