This morning staff from Phoenix AMD International Inc. stopped by Fire Station 1 in Bowmanville to deliver Christmas presents for the Clarington Emergency and Fire Services toy drive.

Phoenix staff brought as many as 10 carloads of toys for children of all ages. It’s the sixth year the company has donated toys. Company staff, assisted by firefighters, unloaded the toys inside the three-bay hall, creating a massive toy mountain. Clarington Fire will give the toys to the Salvation Army, who will distribute them to children in need.

“We are extremely grateful for this generous contribution. These toys will brighten the holidays and put some smiles on children’s faces,” said Clarington Fire Chief Gord Weir.

Phoenix AMD International Inc. is a company that provides home furnishing protection and service.
