Clarington's volunteer firefighters work alongside full-time crews to combat fires, perform rescue operations, respond to medical emergencies, and keep our community safe. To become a volunteer firefighter, review the application requirements below and apply online.
We accept applications year-round, with recruitment traditionally starting mid-September. Applications submitted outside of the recruitment window will be held on file until the following recruitment window.
