Playgrounds, splash pads and skateboard parks

Swing, slide and climb on a playground, catch some air at a skateboard park or cool off in a splash pad throughout the summer. There are plenty of ways to stay active in Clarington.

Many of Clarington's parks have splash pads you can enjoy throughout the summer. We turn on the water at all parks by around mid-June, sometimes earlier, depending on the forecasted weather. All splash pads have a built-in timer that allows water to run from 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. each day.

If you notice a problem at one of our parks, report it online or call 905-623-3379 ext. 2661.

Clarington’s splash pads are for everyone to enjoy. Please follow these rules so everyone can stay cool, stay safe, and have fun:

Sports fields, courts and diamonds

We maintain over 40 sports fields and 30 baseball diamonds from about mid-May to mid-October each year.  If you would like to use a field and diamond for seasonal games or practices, special events or tournaments, you will need to apply for a permit.

To book a soccer field or baseball diamond, please fill out the Facility Rental Permit Application.
