New playground equipment coming to parks in Burketon, Haydon, Kendal, Newtonville and Orono

Clarington residents will soon see new playground equipment at the following parks:

• Burketon Park
• Harvey Jackson Park
• Haydon Hall Parkette
• Ina Brown Parkette
• Peters Pike Parkette

Crews will work throughout May and June to remove the existing equipment that has reached its end of life and install new play structures. New benches and waste receptacles will also be added, along with trail improvements.

They ensure that standards are upheld and rules followed, which can often be accomplished by educating the community about our various by-laws.
