The following roads will close on December 6 from 4 to 10 p.m. for Bowmanville’s Moonlight Magic and Christmas Market event:
Note: Temperance Street will close between King Street and Church Street from December 5 at 5 a.m. to December 6 at 4 p.m. to allow for event set-up.

Phase 2 of road paving and concrete works in Bowmanville Cemetery (1330 Haines Street, Bowmanville) will begin on October 28, 2024, and will last approximately one month. Weather conditions may impact the work schedule.
The road closures are part of ongoing maintenance of the cemetery.

Please be advised that beginning the week of October 7, 2024, GIP Paving Limited will begin work on road improvements in Bowmanville and Newcastle.
Roadwork will include the removal and replacement of applicable surface and base asphalt and concrete sidewalks and curbs, as well as asphalt paving, traffic line painting, driveway and roadway shoulder re-instatement (where applicable), ditching and associated restoration works.

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising that a road closure will be in place on Cobbledick Road in Newcastle from Service Road to the waterfront trail, including the Samuel Wilmot Nature Area parking lot, beginning August 12 into November.
