Update #1: The Alonna Street pathway and pedestrian tunnel under Bowmanville Avenue will remain closed for several weeks while crews from the Region of Durham work to ensure the integrity of the area and prevent future sinkholes. Fences have been erected to keep pedestrians out. For your safety and the safety of others, we urge residents not to move the fencing.

Effective immediately, Diane Hamre Recreation Complex is closed, and all programs are cancelled until further notice due to a power outage. We anticipate returning to our regular program schedule tomorrow (Saturday, December 17, 2022.)

Clarington, December 15, 2022 –Due to the heavy snowfall expected this afternoon and evening, all Clarington recreation, fitness and aquatic programs and activities will be cancelled as of 4 p.m. for the remainder of the day.
