Clarington to install four new pedestrian crossovers in Bowmanville

Clarington is installing four new pedestrian crossovers in Bowmanville to help improve community safety and promote active transportation. Starting the week of November 21, 2022, work will begin to install pedestrian crossovers at the following locations:
- Mearns Avenue and Soper Creek Drive (Type C Pedestrian Crossover)
- Waverley Road and Quinn Drive (Type C Pedestrian Crossover)
- Simpson Avenue and Jane Street (Type C Pedestrian Crossover)
- Honeyman Drive Walkway – 50 metres west of Darryl Caswell...

Clarington has taken an important step toward reconciliation by installing a commemorative orange crosswalk outside of Town Hall, at the corner of Church and Temperance streets.
