Two development proposals* will be coming to the Planning and Development Committee on Monday, January 19, 2026, beginning at 6:30 p.m. – and we want to hear from you!
*Please note this is not an approved project – it is the start of the planning process. The Municipality of Clarington is required to process every development application it receives. Our professional staff rigorously evaluates the merits and suitability of each application, including those like yours.

The Municipality of Clarington intends to designate the properties at 19 ½ -23 King Street West in Bowmanville and 1598 Baseline Road in Courtice for their architectural and historical value under the Ontario Heritage Act.
