Overnight fire at Abe Auto Wreckers in Clarington draws crews from all stations

Clarington April 21, 2015/- A large fire at Abe Auto Wreckers has been extinguished. Clarington Emergency & Fire crews arrived on scene just before 11 p.m. yesterday. Approximately 100 vehicles at the wrecking yard went up in flames. Thirty-six firefighters worked throughout the night to extinguish the fire. No one was injured.

Clarington Apr. 14, 2015/- Clarington is giving residents more options for safe, economical and environmentally friendly travel. The Municipality is launching carpool commuter parking spaces, at four locations, in existing municipally owned parking lots.
