Our Municipal Law Enforcement Division investigates and enforces regulatory municipal by-laws such as property standards, lot maintenance, zoning, signs, noise, parking enforcement and licensing by-laws.

Municipal Law Enforcement officers and staff are committed to educating the community about the by-laws and resident responsibilities. 

If you are concerned about a by-law enforcement issue, you can file a by-law complaint.

If you have a Municipal Law Enforcement matter you need to deal with after our regular office hours, please call 905-623-3379 ext. 2105. An officer is on duty Tuesday through Friday until 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Outside of these hours, please leave a message and a member of our staff will contact you the next business day.
