The team is responsible for implementing all corporate initiatives and projects related to economic development, including Clarington’s Economic Development Strategy, to attract new businesses, retain existing ones, and create job opportunities for residents.

Through various programs, events, and partnerships, Invest Clarington helps to build a thriving and sustainable local economy that benefits everyone in the community. Working closely with the Clarington Board of Trade (CBOT), local businesses, community organizations, and government agencies, the division provides resources and support that encourage investment and entrepreneurship in Clarington.
