Clarington, Ontario – As we mark National AccessAbility Week, Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster has issued the following statement.
“National AccessAbility Week is an opportunity for all of us to recognize and celebrate the important contributions of people with disabilities in our community and across Canada. It’s a time to reflect on the progress we have made towards inclusion and acknowledge that our work is not done yet.
This week serves as a reminder that accessibility is not a destination but an ongoing journey that requires commitment, flexibility and a willingness to learn and adapt. Clarington is steadfast on this journey and will continue building a community where everyone feels included and valued.”
