Families in Newcastle can look forward to a refreshed and expanded outdoor play space as work begins this summer to upgrade the playground at Brookhouse Parkette. Starting the week of, Monday, August 4, crews will begin construction on a new larger play area, featuring a combination junior/senior play structure, new benches, and wood fibre safety surfacing to enhance both safety and accessibility.
