Four development proposals* will be coming to the Planning and Development Committee on Monday, December 9 beginning at 6:30 p.m. – and we want to hear from you!
*Please note these are not approved projects – this is part of the planning process. The Municipality of Clarington is mandated to accept and process every development application it receives, and our professional staff will rigorously evaluate the merits and suitability of each application, which includes public input through Statutory Public Meetings like these.
The Biglieri Group Ltd. has submitted applications on behalf of Delpark Homes (Prestonvale) Inc. for a Zoning By-law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision at 1430 and 1500 Prestonvale Road in Courtice.
The proposal includes plans to develop 60 residential lots and one part lot, consisting of:
The total site area is 6.75 acres (2.73 hectares) in size.
The Municipality is seeking public comments before making a decision on an application for a Zoning By-law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision.
Made-True Developments Inc. (c/o Frank Maida) has submitted applications for a Zoning By-law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision at 361 Townline Road in Courtice.
The proposal includes plans to develop 16 three-storey semi-detached dwellings.
The total site area is 2.2 acres (0.89 hectares) in size.
The Municipality is seeking public comments before making a decision on an application for an Official Plan and Zoning By-Law Amendment.
Meredith Consultant Services has submitted applications on behalf of Alesandro Sirizzotti, Rico Patrick Sirizzotti, Luigi Sirizzotti, Pasquale Sirizzotti, Adelina Pelosi, Giulio Sirizzotti, Marisa Sirizzotti for an Official Plan and Zoning By-Law Amendment at 1420 and 1422 Nash Road in Courtice.
The proposal includes plans to develop 73 residential units of various built forms, consisting of:
The total site area is 7.5 acres (3.03 hectares) in size.
The Municipality is seeking public comments before making a decision on an application for a Zoning By-law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision.
D.G. Biddle and Associates Ltd has submitted applications on behalf of Akero Developments for a Zoning By-law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision at 3187 Middle Road, Bowmanville.
The proposal includes plans to develop 12 single-detached dwellings and an extension of Douglas Kemp Crescent.
The total site area is 1.9 acres (0.782 hectares) in size.
