Construction Notice: Baseball diamond reconstruction underway at Soper Creek Park

Work is underway to reconstruct the baseball diamond at Soper Creek Park in Bowmanville. During construction, the playground, basketball court and parking lot remain open. The baseball diamond and batting cage have been fenced off for construction and public safety. Please use caution when walking or cycling along the driveway, as heavy equipment and trucks will be moving through the area.

Upgrades include:

• Replacement of the backstop
• New players’ benches and dugouts
• Reconstruction of the infield and outfield

All work is expected to be complete by the end of October 2025. Please note that timelines are approximate and will vary depending on weather and other factors.

This exciting upgrade is made possible in part through the Jays Care Foundation’s Field of Dreams grant, funded by TD, awarded to the Municipality in May 2025.
