Multiple roads to close in downtown Bowmanville for Applefest

Applefest celebrates fall and all things apple! Join in the festivities in Historic Downtown Bowmanville from Saturday, October 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

King Street will be closed from Friday, October 17, 2025, at 6 p.m., to Saturday, October 18, 2025, at approximately 7 p.m., from Scugog Street to George Street, and will also include parts of Division Street, Silver Street, and Temperance Street. Detours are available via alternate local roads.

Park for free in one of our downtown parking lots.

Visit Clarington’s booth, located west of George Street. Meet Municipal Staff and members of our Diversity and Accessibility Advisory Committees and learn about our programs and services. Don’t forget to stop by the Clarington Firefighters education booth and fire truck on the corner of King Street and Scugog Street to learn about fire safety and tour a fire truck.
