Heads up, tennis fans! Exciting upgrades are coming to the courts at Solina Park (1964 Concession Road 6) that will enhance the sport experience.
The courts will be back in action this fall, refreshed and ready to serve up something special for the whole community to enjoy. 💚
"We’re excited about the awesome upgrades that are underway at the Solina Park tennis courts. Thanks to the support from Hydro One, we’re building up the community we love and making life here even better. Everything should be ready for the first serve this fall, and tennis fans are going to love it!" said Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster.
This project was made possible in part by Hydro One, whose support is helping Clarington invest in safe, accessible, and inclusive spaces for recreation. Enhancing community spaces like Solina Park strengthens local connection and encourages active living for residents of all ages.
“We are pleased to partner with the Municipality of Clarington to support upgrades to their tennis courts. At Hydro One, we know recreational spaces bring communities together and we care deeply about the regions where we work, live and play," said Bonnie Hiltz, Vice President, Government and Stakeholder Relations. "This is a great example of how we continue to build the electricity network and energize life for communities here at home in Ontario."
While the courts are temporarily closed, you’re welcome to rally at Avondale Park in Courtice. We appreciate your patience as crews work on these improvements.
Let the upgrades begin! Team Clarington is joined by Hydro One staff to mark the start of construction.
