Statement from Mayor Adrian Foster calling for peace in the Middle East

Clarington, Ontario – Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster has issued the following statement.

“We are thankful for the recent pause in the devastating war in the Middle East and hope this is the first step towards sustainable, lasting peace and understanding in the region. The destruction, hardship, and death among the peoples living there has been unfathomable, and our thoughts and prayers are with all those who are suffering.”
