Statement from Mayor Adrian Foster on Christmas

Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster has issued the following Christmas statement.

“Merry Christmas! I wish everyone who’s celebrating a warm and joyous holiday. 

For my family, and many of our Christian residents, Christmas is a time of tradition, faith and gathering around a glowing tree. Christmas is also celebrated by many others in our community as a chance to gather, share gifts, and enjoy good company. However you celebrate, this season reminds us of the importance of togetherness and generosity.

Clarington's Municipal Administrative Centre (Town Hall) will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at noon to Thursday, January 1, 2026.
