Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of the closure of Baseline Road and Trulls Road in the Municipality of Clarington’s community of Courtice.
When: The Baseline Road closure will be in place from October 3, 2022, to August 4, 2023. The Trulls Road closure will be in place from October 3, 2022, until December 2023. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Residents will soon see new courts at Guildwood Park in Bowmanville and Stuart Park in Courtice as crews begin work to replace the court surfaces. Guildwood Park is slated for a new tennis court surface, and at Stuart Park, the basketball court will get new asphalt. In addition, the tennis courts at Stuart Park will be replaced by new pickleball courts to support the growing demand for the sport.
