Clarington, Ontario – Clarington’s Chief Administrative Officer, Mary-Anne Dempster, has issued the following statement:

Construction on new Bowmanville park to begin June 5

On Monday, June 5, 2023, crews will start work on the construction of Brookhill Parkette in Bowmanville, located at 2350 Green Road. 

The construction work includes the installation of: 

• A play pod with playground equipment, a concrete curb, drainage, and wood fibre safety surfacing. 
• A shade structure with a concrete pad. 
• Park signage, benches and waste receptacles. 
• Various landscape features and vegetation.
