Residents will be unable to drop off or pick up water sample testing kits at Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex from Wednesday, June 29 to Sunday, July 3, 2022. The regular water sample bottle drop-off and pick-up schedule will resume on Monday, July 4, 2022, at 8 a.m.

As the community continues to clean up following the province-wide storm on May 21, Clarington has received some questions about financial assistance available to residents on private property to help their efforts. Elexicon will be conducting a scheduled power outage in the Port of Newcastle on Friday, June 10, 2022. The outage will last approximately four hours, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The outage is necessary to ensure the safety of Elexicon workers and the community while crews perform maintenance of the distribution system equipment, which is crucial.

Residents must register by filling out the Brush Collection Request Form or by calling 905-263-2291 to ensure that crews have their address for curbside pickup of storm debris, including fallen trees, branches, and brush.
