New hours at the Clarington Household Special Waste Depot

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of new hours at the Clarington Household Special Waste Depot located in Bowmanville in the Municipality of Clarington.

When: Effective October 20, the site will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Extended hours to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays only will start again in May and continue until the first Tuesday in October.

This facility is closed Sundays, Monday and holidays.

Where: 1998 Bowmanville Avenue in Clarington.

Notice of Adoption of Clarington’s COVID-19 Community Improvement Plan

Take notice that the Council of the Municipality of Clarington passed By-law 2020-067 on October 13, 2020, under Section 28 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. as amended, to adopt the COVID-19 Community Improvement Plan (CIP).

See Schedule "A"  for an explanation of the purpose and effect of the COVID-19 Community Improvement Plan. A copy of the COVID-19 CIP and any background material will be made available to the public for inspection...

Outdoor work at the Municipal Administrative Centre

Please be advised that Municipal Staff will be doing some outdoor work at the Municipal Administrative Centre using a boom lift today, Tuesday, October 20. This may cause disruption to the sidewalks around Town Hall and some entrances. The work will continue throughout the day.
