Clarington Mayor celebrates the return of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series

Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster has issued the following statement.

“After a seven-year break, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is coming back to Clarington to race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. For tens of thousands of race fans from across Canada and the northern United States, and many local business owners, this news has us excited and impatient. It’s like hearing Christmas is coming but not until next year. We’re going to have a hard time waiting for the 2027 Labour Day weekend.

To the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series crew, welcome back to Clarington. We look forward to the excitement and economic benefit you’ll bring to our community. Now, how many more sleeps until race day?”
