Clarington Mayor's statement on Thanksgiving

Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster has issued the following statement.

“Thanksgiving invites us to pause, remember what matters most, and savour all that we have to be grateful for. We celebrate our blessings not alone, but with family and friends as a thankful community.

I’m grateful to Clarington’s hardworking farmers for the abundant harvest. I’m grateful to every foodbank donor and volunteer helping those in need. I’m especially grateful to live in a community where we take care of one another. It’s a place where I see kindness, connection, and compassion among neighbours.

There is so much to be thankful for this weekend and always. On behalf of Clarington Council, happy Thanksgiving.”
