“We see an incredible future ahead for Clarington. The 2024-27 Clarington Strategic Plan is our roadmap to get there, and the Year in Review is like our milestone marker. This is how we know we’re on track and making progress with our priorities. I couldn’t be prouder of our journey so far. I’m excited to see all the amazing things Clarington Council and Staff will achieve as we move forward,” said Mayor Adrian Foster.

Guided by the strategic pillars of Lead, Connect, and Grow Responsibly, Clarington’s initiatives, investments, and community-focused programs and services are helping to enhance quality of life for years to come. Modern upgrades are making things easier and more convenient for residents and new creative solutions bring countless benefits to the community.

"How we deliver change is just as important as why we pursue it—creating a vibrant, thriving community for both residents and businesses," said Mary-Anne Dempster, Clarington’s Chief Administrative Officer. "Together with Council, we ensure our actions align with what matters most to Clarington with a focus on responsible financial stewardship. Reflecting on 2024, I’m inspired by the creative thinking, dedication to community engagement, and genuine care that Team Clarington brings to work every day."
