Intersection construction ongoing at West Side Drive and Baseline Road
Construction is ongoing at West Side Drive and Baseline Road in Bowmanville as crews work to install traffic signals.
The work includes:
- Installing traffic poles, traffic signals, electrical conduit, and equipment
- Removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk
- Line painting
- Boulevard restoration work
West Side Drive and Baseline Road may experience lane reductions and short-term closures during construction, and traffic may be delayed.
Construction is expected to finish by the end of November, with some work extending into spring 2027. Timelines are approximate and will vary depending on weather and other factors.
This project supports changing traffic patterns surrounding the new Bowmanville Community Complex. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to build a more active, connected and engaged community.
