Cancellations and service disruptions

Public safety is our top priority. If Clarington does not have the required number of lifeguards available to work and supervise pools, the Municipality will be forced to cancel other scheduled swimming programs.

Swimming hours may be adjusted due to special events, maintenance, or other unforeseen circumstances. Changes to the schedule will be posted one week before the change, wherever possible. View current service disruptions online or subscribe to get updates in your inbox. You may also find service disruptions by contacting any of our recreation facilities.

As the new complex continues to grow and more amenities and programs become available, we’ll keep listening to our community and monitoring how the facility is being used. Your feedback and experiences will help guide future decisions, including any adjustments to the indoor track schedule, so we can continue to meet the needs of residents.

Thank you for your patience and support during this exciting transition. We look forward to welcoming you to the Bowmanville Community Complex and creating a space that evolves with our community.
