Lest we forget: Clarington marks Remembrance Day

Join us on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. as we remember the sacrifices and achievements of the local men and women who served in Canada’s military in times of war, military conflict and peace and those who have died since returning home from Active Service.

Together with our local Royal Canadian Legion Branch 178, we will mark Remembrance Day in Veterans' Square at Town Hall (40 Temperance Street, Bowmanville).

If you are unable to come in person, we encourage you to attend another Remembrance Service in Clarington, tune into local TV channels or watch the Government of Ontario’s Remembrance Day Ceremony.

There are many ways to show your support for the Royal Canadian Legion, our veterans, and their families this Remembrance Day. Visit www.poppystore.ca to see how you can contribute or learn more about the stories behind Clarington’s war heroes on our website.
