Outdoor programming cancelled and Orono Park Pool closed due to poor air quality

To protect the safety of our participants and staff, municipal outdoor recreation programs, including Families in the Park and Orono Park Pool drop-in swims, are cancelled today, July 15, due to poor air quality. Clarington Camps will remain indoors.   

Clarington staff who are required to work outdoors have been provided with personal protective equipment to help reduce exposure to airborne particulate matter associated with wildfire smoke.
