Overnight road repairs planned at the intersection of Liberty Street South and Baseline Road West in Bowmanville
Starting Monday, July 6, the Municipality of Clarington and the Region of Durham are working together to complete localized removal and repaving of asphalt in the southbound lanes of Liberty Street South and the westbound lane of Baseline Road West in Bowmanville.
To minimize disruption at this busy intersection, all work is scheduled overnight between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. over a period of up to four nights, weather permitting.
Motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians are advised to avoid the area where possible and use alternative routes.
We thank you for your patience as we complete this necessary work to improve the roadway.
Future road rehabilitation project
Additional interim road repairs are planned at the intersection of Baseline Road and Duke Street, near the Highway 401 ramp entrance later this year. This is in advance of a future road rehabilitation project that is currently in the design phase.
