Overnight snow removal in downtown Bowmanville and Newcastle

Clarington crews will be out clearing excess snow from downtown Bowmanville and Newcastle to keep our streets and sidewalks safe and accessible. While our crews will do their best to minimize disruption, you may hear noise from snow-clearing equipment during these times. We appreciate your support and understanding while this work takes place.

To help with snow removal, the following roads will be closed from Wednesday, January 28, at 11 p.m. to Thursday, January 29, at 7 a.m.

Bowmanville Road Closures

• King Street, between Scugog Street and George Street
• Division Street, between Church Street and Queen Street
• Temperance Street, between Church Street and Queen Street
• Silver Street, between Church Street and Queen Street

Newcastle Road Closures

• King Street West, between North Street and Aurther Street
