Statement from Mayor Adrian Foster on Diwali

Clarington, Ontario – In honour of Diwali, Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster has shared the following statement.

During the Festival of Lights, families across Clarington will brighten our community by lighting up their homes with lamps, candles and lanterns. For everyone who cherishes this colourful tradition, it’s a special time to celebrate goodness winning over evil and light chasing away the dark.
