Statement from Mayor Foster on Lunar New Year

Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster has issued the following statement.

“Happy Lunar New Year, on behalf of Clarington Council, to all those in our community greeting the Year of the Horse. The Horse stands for adventure, vitality, and momentum, encouraging renewed strength and motivation.

Lunar New Year, or Chinese New Year, is a chance to recognize and celebrate the diverse traditions that make Clarington a stronger, more connected community. May those observing have a joyful festival and may the Year of the Horse inspire us all to embrace new opportunities and move forward with excitement.”
